APC Reconciliation Tour in Okene LGA: A Unified Effort for Party Strengthening
From Friday, February 7, to Monday, February 10, 2025, the All Progressives Congress (APC) embarked on a comprehensive reconciliation tour across the 11 wards of Okene Local Government Area (LGA) in Kogi State. This initiative aimed to address grievances within the party and reinforce unity among members.
The tour was meticulously organized to include APC leaders at every level, from the ward to the polling unit. This inclusive approach ensured that all members were actively involved in the reconciliation process, fostering a sense of ownership and collective responsibility.
A central achievement of the tour was the opportunity to engage directly with aggrieved party members. These interactions provided a platform for members to voice their concerns, with assurances that their messages would be conveyed to the leadership for prompt action and resolution.
After a successful meeting across each ward, each ward was gifted cash support with a banner for each ward.
Additionally, the unwavering support and guidance of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo were instrumental in uniting the party and fostering development within the state. His dedication to strengthening the APC and promoting unity among its members has been a cornerstone of the party’s recent successes. Governor Ododo’s leadership has been pivotal in advancing the party’s agenda and ensuring the well-being of the people of Kogi State.
The success of this reconciliation tour is largely attributed to the visionary leadership of Hon. Ozigi Muhammed Tijani, the esteemed member representing Okene Ogori Magongo in the House of Representatives. His commitment to party unity and grassroots engagement was evident throughout the tour. Hon. Tijani was represented on the ground by Hon. Abdullahi Issah Aduke, a respected grassroots leader, whose presence ensured the effective implementation of the tour’s objectives.
This reconciliation tour marks a pivotal step towards strengthening the APC’s foundation in Okene LGA, promoting unity, and ensuring that the voices of all members are heard and addressed.
